This past week’s meeting with the mechanical engineers was not only highly productive, but also most encouraging. Through a collaborative effort of all present, the design and engineering of the various mechanical systems within the future Shrine of Christ the King will be efficient as well as effective, and never at the expense of the overall interior aesthetic. By utilizing the available space created by the additional columns introduced by the basilica style, all mechanicals will be discreetly incorporated into the architecture, providing contemporary comfort to this magnificent classical design.
Thank you for your continued support of this monumental project for the glory of God and the common good of the Woodlawn community. Together, we will rise from the ashes.
